Bob Hoffman – CEO
Previously, Bob was CEO of MOJO/USA, Creative Director at Allen & Dorward Advertising, and science teacher at a middle school. He has served on the board of the Advertising and Marketing International Network and is former President of the San Francisco Advertising Club. He is author of the book The Ad Contrarian.
Sharon Krinsky – President/Chief Creative Officer
Sharon is a member of our Board of Directors. Previously, Sharon was Creative Director of Gearon Hoffman Advertising in Boston, MA. Before that Sharon worked in public relations and was a magazine editor. Sharon has been an instructor on creativity for the American Association of Advertising Agencies in their continuing education program for advertising professionals.
Josh is also a member of our Board of Directors. He has extensive advertising experience, having directed efforts for a wide variety of national and international accounts including Dreyer’s Grand Ice Cream, Qantas Airways, McDonald’s, and Sutter Home Wines. He also served as Director of Client Services for both Chiat/Day and Goldberg Moser O’Neill Advertising in San Francisco.
Mark began his career with Ogilvy & Mather. He spent ten years with D’Arcy, Masius, Benton & Bowles, founding their office in Prague and serving as Central European Account Director for M&M/Mars. Mark later moved to Mexico where he was Managing Director of D’Arcy, Mexico City. Mark is a returned Peace Corps volunteer, and is fluent in Spanish and Czech.
Andrea, a member of our Executive Committee, has served as Senior Vice President/Director of Marketing at SelfCare, a health and wellness company, and as Senior Vice President/Group Account Director at Publicis & Hal Riney. Earlier in her career, she worked in account services at Chiat/Day and Young & Rubicam in San Francisco and Ogilvy & Mather in New York.
Miles was part of the original launch team for Lexus. He’s headed up creative groups on Bayer, Toyota, Wrigley’s, and Land Rover. He launched Prius and created the first national Twitter campaign for Land Rover. His previous experience also includes award-winning work on Apple, Nike, Yonex, and Roederer Champagne. Miles is a former CIA operative and an Olympic Medallist in synchronized swimming.
Besides holding senior media positions at Allen & Dorward and MOJO/USA, Sue’s background includes teaching media classes at UC Berkeley, Haas School of Business. Community service plays a big role in her life. Currently she’s raising funds for the Rural Women’s Leadership Project, which provides impoverished village women with leadership and business skills. She serves on our Executive Committee.
Trey manages our Toyota business and is a member of our Executive Committee. He has spent the last 18 years managing various automotive accounts in several markets around the country. At J. Walter Thompson, he served as Senior Vice President on the Ford account. Trey is an avid golfer.
Mark came to H|L by way of GSD&M in Austin and on occasion still has barbeque shipped home. During his more than 15 years as a writer, he has developed award-winning national campaigns for some of the largest and most-respected brands in the world, including Anheuser-Busch, AT&T, Coca-Cola, Nike, Frito-Lay, M&M’s/Mars, and the PGA Tour. Mark and his wife have three children under the age of nine, which is not all that different from running a creative department.
Tyler spent nine years at Anheuser-Busch in the Busch Media Group doing sponsorship negotiation, media buying, and brand planning for Budweiser and other A-B brands. He has also worked in online advertising sales and marketing at PriMedia and About.com.
Maribel was born in Mexico City. She began her career at Grey/Mexico handling Procter & Gamble brands. Later she managed Sensodyne, the leading brand of Stafford Miller, one of her Grey clients. Back on the agency side, she developed strategic direction for Bayer and Frito-Lay in the Mexico and Latin America markets, as well as for Mars Inc. She has managed various accounts in the US, including AARP and UnitedHealth Group. Maribel considers herself bicultural and is fluent in Spanish and English.
Andre worked for almost a decade as Online Producer at Disney/ABC Television Group and Disney Consumer Products. During his tenure at Disney, he won an Interactive Prime Time Emmy for the Disney Channel Games. He is well versed in both traditional online and cutting-edge technologies. Andre is a gifted producer with a keen understanding of website development, e-commerce, interactive games, and social media.
Mindy was formerly Senior Interactive Strategist at Greater Than One, where she developed website strategies for pharmaceutical and OTC clients Novartis, Genzyme, and Estroven. At 360i, she led research optimization, social media monitoring, and blog outreach projects. At BBDO West, she was Senior Planner on Mars Petcare and E. J. Gallo.
